Why Am I Running?
IT'S ALL ABOUT SERVICE AND EQUITY
Whether it's the completion of FasTracks or the placement of bus service, RTD needs to allocate resources to the citizens in an equitable fashion.
Here on the North end of town, iI have worked hard to bring commuter rail - the N Line, which opened in September 2020.
Also, working with the North I-25 Transportation Management Organization, and its then Executive Director, Karen Stuart, RTD was able to extend Flex bus service from the Wagon Road Park N Ride to 144th and I-25 to serve employees needing service to get to work.
WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
If you use transit, you know the answer to this question already. Whether getting to and from work, the airport, or shopping, transit makes your life easier.
If you are not a regular transit user, know that a robust and complete transit system brings good jobs, good schools and increases property values.
We all benefit from a good transit system.
I will continue to work to maintain and expand services to our area.
